Hey peeps!
Khairul here. Just wanna share u my experience during spec course lol. But before that, i would like to congratulate myself for getting 2sgt and the PLATOON BEST!!! ( right back at cha Nic ;D). hahaha
Secondly, i would like to say thanks for those who have helped me both mentally and physically. These peeps are none other than the CLTs ( Especially Sir Alvin!!) and my platoons mates :) !

K, before the course, i've heard rumours saying that this course is one of the most difficult to go tru. Seriously, i was so afraid of this course until i had intentions of coming up with reasons for not able to attend this course ;D. That was when until Sir Alvin start to come in and tell stuffs to prepare us for this course lol. really appreciate it. ;D

During the course, there's this feeling i had at first. That is not wanting to go up and volounteer myself. I remembered that i kept saying to myself to become the IC/Timer for the next time they ask for it. I kept saying this each time someone else volounteers to become the IC/Timer.
Then as time pass by during the course, i saw Jia Jun becoming the IC and Zhen Ming becoming the Timers like nobody business lol. Then thats when it hit me real hard. I said to myself that if im the USM and im not doing better than the others, that would be something to be ashamed of. Strange enough, i thought of Nicholas (EX- USM) and his words saying that if im here for the course, i have the option to just let it pass by just like that or to make the best out of it. I chose No.2 :). hahas
I started to become the IC for as much as possible and one thing u guys out there should know is that when u become the IC or something, u seriously have to be confident of yourself. Thats all u need. I heard other peeps saying this like so many times. SERIOUSLY! u need to have confidence in urself.
Wondering what the IC do? For me, i just did what we usually train at school. Simple stuffs like falling in quickly and not take your own sweet time. And even dragging of boots! I become like a tape recorder to my platoon mates lol. But at the same time, i remembered what the seniors told me about paul. Haha. So, after i remind them to hurry up or stop draggin their boots, i will either start a really3 informal conversation with them just to shake off the 'heat' between me and those peeps. :).
That is basically what i did for the rest of the course. Suprisingly, i won the award BUT!, i really10 disagree that jia jun was not chosen as the platoon/company best as i really10 think he did way better than me. Eveytime i feel like i did something wrong during the course, i just look at jia jun and comfirm 1!, he will be giving instructions to other peeps. This really boost up the confidence in me big time. Same goes for Zhen Ming.
But all this already happened and what to do? hahas
With that, i would like to end this with another "thank you" and "Good Job" to those who got their 2sgt and the others who completed this course.
